whoah! nook is good!!
Published 1 year, 8 months ago in Local services.Who’d have believed it? I was contacted some time ago about whether I’d be interested in a localised web community and I gave my thoughts, but given that it was sponsored by a big media conglomerate, I gave it virtually zero chance of being any good.
Well, here it is - and it’s not bad!
I am an early adopter and so I have my own domain with a wordpress blog that I use for my modest needs, but I reckon there might be some posts that I’ll put on this one. What is the engine anyway - it feels a lot like wordpress? Overall, I’m impressed - after all, compare this with Telstra’s abysmal ‘bigblog’ experiment! bleagh!!
So, sorry this nook isn’t going to be a hive of activity, but you can always check my regular blog or my flickr stream.

@manabouttown: you can use a bit of basic html in your posts. the back-end engine is basically wordpress, so I’d try the wordpress faq for guidance.
